2018 SDMB Mega Raffle

Purchase tickets for SDMB’s 2018 Super Ultra Mega Raffle and you could win a DSD Composites Prize Package, a Crested Butte/Outerbike 2019 Travel Package, or one of many other great prizes.

Online raffle ends at 11:59 AM on Friday, October 26.  In-person ticket sales at the MLGG end at 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 27.  Winners will be announced at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 27.  You do not need to be present to win.

RULES AND REGULATIONS – ELIGIBILITY: Entry purchaser, and anyone to whom an entry purchaser legally transfers an entry, must be either a business entity or an individual 21 years or older and a legal U.S. resident at time of entry purchase and be a resident of the state of Arizona. Tickets will be sold through authorized Sonoran Desert Mountain Bicyclists (hereafter referred to as SDMB) members and staff members only. Tickets may be purchased by phone at (928) 273-4037, online at www.sdmbraffle.graemehuntdesign.com, or in person at SDMB events. By law, raffle and other donations and merchandise purchases must be purchased with a separate check or charged to a credit card as separate transactions. Due to postal regulations, raffle ticket stubs cannot be returned by mail should tickets be purchased online or over the phone. Accordingly, an authorized representative from the SDMB shall complete the ticket by filling in the name, address, phone number and e-mail address of purchaser. It is the responsibility of ticket purchaser to correctly provide contact information including name, address, telephone number and e-mail address so that they can be promptly contacted should they be deemed a winner. A receipt of purchase will be e-mailed to ticket purchaser.

DRAWING: Tickets will be sold at three price points: single tickets for $10, 6 for $50, and 13 for $100. SDMB assumes no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete, illegible or non-delivered entries. Any mutilated, incomplete or illegible entries will be deemed invalid and shall be immediately disqualified. Entries will be entered into a spreadsheet with a number assigned to each entry, and winning numbers will be chosen using a random number generator. All entries will be entered in the main drawing to be held at the Mount Lemmon Gravel Grinder on Saturday, October 27. Seven winning entries will be drawn at the Mount Lemmon Gravel Grinder on Saturday, October 27. Winners need not be present to win. Winners not present at time of drawing will be notified by phone and/or email no later than 5:00 PM on Sunday, October 28 2018. Winner will need to physically pick up raffle prize, either at the event if present, or at the appointed address of the business donating the prize during normal business hours. Identification that matches the name on the winning raffle ticket will be required.

PRIZE SPECIFIC INFO: Winners will be drawn in the following order: the Grand Prizes, followed by the Additional Prizes in descending order of value.

ADDITIONAL INFO: Items cannot be returned or exchanged from donor.

TAX & IRS RULES: All proceeds benefit Sonoran Desert Mountain Bicyclists, a non-profit organization operating under paragraph 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and the laws of the State of Arizona. Winner shall be responsible for any applicable federal, state, and local taxes. The IRS has taken the position that amounts paid for chances to participate in raffles, lotteries or similar programs are not gifts and, therefore, the price of the entry does not qualify as a deductible charitable contribution or donation for income tax purposes.
